Come and listen to local author, Juliet Timson, read her book about Grumpy Rosetta, in a small group setting when you visit our PYO Pumpkin Patch. Each child will be given a small craft gift to take home.
Suitable for children up to around 7 years

Bring your wellies, grab a wheelbarrow and go! Find your perfect pumpkin to take home. Pumpkins will be priced according to size. The main site is accessible by wheelchairs and pushchairs though the pumpkin patch might be more challenging.
We have a large covered picnic area and tea, coffee and hot chocolate with cakes and donuts will be on sale. Plus the Saxbys Cider mobile shop will be open also selling cider, apple juice and honey from the beehives on the farm.
Well-behaved dogs with poo bags are welcome in the bar and seating area only. No dogs in the pumpkin patch.
£2.50 for parking for one car and FREE entry for all the occupants. One ticket per car.

There is a large open covered seating area for everyone to relax and have some refreshment after some hard pumpkin picking. Toilets will be onsite (including disabled and baby changing). New for 2021, we have an apple launching trebuchet to fire apples at pumpkin targets. Plus we’ll have some great pumpkin displays for your photo opportunities. Trailer rides will be running at the weekends and tickets for this can be bought when you arrive.

Book your time slot. Entry is any time within your time slot and, once in, you are welcome to stay as long as you like. We are only booking entry times to stagger arrivals on-site so we can help everyone to maintain social distancing.

Come and celebrate the wonderful world of apples with us on the farm. Where would Saxby’s Cider be without them? We’ll be pressing our cider apples on our big press on the farm from September into October.
We’ll have apple pressing demonstrations all afternoon using our original rack and cloth press and if you bring your own apples we’ll press them for you so you can take home the juice. Kids will be entertained with a treasure hunt and can go on a trailer ride around the orchard.
The bar will be open with our usual ciders and we’ll be serving hot mulled cider too. We’ll also have street food to make sure everyone is well-fed. Duncan Craven will be playing his guitar during the afternoon and keeping us entertained.
Tickets are £5 for adults and £2.50 for under children aged 6 - 17. Under 5s are FREE.
